B gun in Rockwall County, Texas. Fishing instructions came a little
later, five years old to this Texas Rancher’s Daughter.
Elk and turkey hunting has become an obsession. Shooting hogs on every continent and throughout United States is a job fix for a DIVA. This Texas DIVA has been actively involved in hunting, target shooting, fresh and salt water fishing; introduced to archery at 50 plus years. |

| SUMMARY | Judy Rhodes
has chaired many grass roots inner-organizations involvement in
conservation groups throughout the United States. Judy brings fresh
and creative involvement for board and associates/spouse members
within many organizations. Chaired and developed many fund raising
and program director projects for private and public school in
Metroplex and Missouri Military Academy. Since founding Texas
Women’s Shooting Sports also know as DIVAS in 1999 memberships has
grown from 15 women to more than 800 women worldwide. DIVAS’ as
known in the industry has membership in 48 states and 14 foreign
countries. Texas Women’s Shooting Sports is a woman’s ONLY
organization.
Judy’s voice has been heard on every major radio & television station across America promoting women in the outdoors. Judy has been featured in stories promoting women’s positive outdoor experiences through-out the world including broadcasts on German Television and the United Kingdom BBC Television. Judy’s photograph and/or story has been seen in every major publication around the globe with articles appearing as the focal story of icons’ in America. I.e. lead story with photograph including shotgun on Today Section of USA Today, March 2006. Divas in the Outdoors Television Show is a wonderful medium for reaching women and families worldwide. The family show teaches simple techniques from professionals. The outdoors is fun and viewers agree; encouraging viewers to become a part of the great outdoors. Divas in the Outdoors is the #2 show on MOR (Men’s Outdoors and Recreational) shown on Direct TV, DishNetwork, Comcast and Turner Media. Judy has become the voice of outdoor women within the industry and the world is listening! |
